MEGA 8 is a non ionic detergent with non denaturing properties. The detergent can be easily removed by dialysis. MEGA 8 is transparent in the UV region. It is an excellent protein solubilizer.

Non ionic detergent. Water soluble detergent with non denaturing properties. Can be easily removed by dialysis. Transparent in UV region. Excellent for use as a membrane protein solubilizer. Purity > 98% by TLC. Conductivity < 50 micromhos in a 10% solution.
