ANB NOS

(Photoreactive Phenyl Azides)

PA110   N-5-Azido-2-nitrobenzoyloxysuccinimide
  f.w.: 305.2 daltons

ANB NOS is a short arm ( 7.7 angstroms ) crosslinker that contains an amine reactive N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) ester and a photoactivatable nitrophenyl azide. The phenylazide with a nitro group shifts the wavelength for photolysis from 320 nanometers to 350 nanometers. ANB NOS maintains the biological integrity of proteins and nucleic acids. Protect from light.

  • N-5-Azido-2-nitrobenzoyloxysuccinimide
  • Nitro group on the phenyl azide ring shifts wavelength for photoactivation to 320-350 nm, which is less damaging to proteins and nucleic acids
  • Reactive groups: NHS ester and nitro phenyl azide
  • Reactive towards: amino groups
