N-hydroxysulfosuccinimide (Sulfo NHS) is a chemical modification reagents for converting carboxyl groups to amine reactive Sulfo NHS esters for applications in a variety of bioconjugation and crosslinking methods. Sulfo NHS is the water soluble analog to NHS.

Protein modification reagent. Used to form amine reactive peptides. The addition of SULFO NHS to carbodiimide mediated coupling reactions results in an increase of hapten carrier protein conjugates.
